World's not ready

Not withstanding the fact that, being on the opposite side of the Atlantic to most of the major Christian fiction publishers, my market tips are so out of date as to be pretty much useless, one thing is becoming clearer.

As the rejections build up, I am forcing myself to accept the fact that the world is just not ready for Old Testament Space Opera. In fact, one market tip I recently got replied with the advice that

we will be moving away from both time travel and science fiction, as the Christian market has not responded well to these genres.

Stupid Christians, don't know what they're missing. But there it is, in black and white: Christian science fiction don't sell. Its time, apparently, has not yet come.

Well, I can wait.
